The HCA-FL Northside Hospital Medical Staff Fund Inc. is proud to announce a yearly donation of $5000.00 to the American Heart Association of more than 35 million volunteers and supporters dedicated to improving heart health and reducing deaths from cardiovascular disease and stroke, both nationally and internationally. AHA has been in existence and founded by six cardiologists in 1924. The AHA has transformed from a scientific society to a voluntary health organization composed of volunteers and supported by professional staff.

Dr Robert Sanchez is a practicing cardiologist at HCA-FL Northside hospital extremely passionate about the role AHA plays in ever day life of ordinary Americans. He is the director of Northside cardiology fellowship program training the future generations of noninvasive cardiologists along with his faculty of highly qualified cardiologists. Dr Sanchez is also the HCA First Humanitarian Award in 2011. It is for this reason we; the Northside Medical Staff recognizes his contribution to American Heart association
