The HCA Florida Northside Hospital Medical Staff Fund Inc. is proud to announce a yearly donation of $5000 in recognition of Valerie Powell-Stafford’s contribution and support of women’s health issues as demonstrated in her being a member of the American Heart Associations Go Red for Women’s Executive cabinet. The Go Red for Women’s cabinet has played a crucial role in raising awareness of the issues of women health and heart disease to save more lives. The movement harnesses the energy, passion and power of women to band together and collectively wipe out heart disease. Valerie Powell-Stafford joined as the CEO of HCA Florida Northside Hospital in 2019. She has served in multiple leadership positions in HCA Florida Healthcare hospitals, held multiple governingpositions on the boards of various organizations since 2009 including the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and is very passionate about the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women’s mission and women’s health issuers.
